Passenger can use Airport Shuttle Bus Service from/to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport [SAI] depends on budget, group size, and luggage needs. Varieties of transportation options from/to the airport are available. If traveling with a large group or have a lot of luggage, a minivan or taxi would be the best option. If you are looking for a convenient and comfortable option, a taxi would be suitable.

Shuttle Bus Ticket Service:

1. Siem Reap City Center: CDF Angkor Duty Free Store

2. SAI Airport: 1F, Outside International Arrival Hall

To further facilitate foreign nationals’ travel to China, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Cambodia will provide walk-in visa application services starting from November 20, 2023.

1. Visa applicants can log on to the China Online Visa Application website (http://cova.cs.mfa.gov.cn) to fill in the form and then go to the visa section of the Embassy to submit the hard copies of visa application documents. Prior online appointment is no longer required. Other visa application procedures and material requirements remain unchanged. For details, please refer to the latest information on visa application (http://kh.china-embassy.gov.cn/.../t20230316_11042606.htm)

2. At the visa office, please follow the instructions for security check and queue-number pickup. In order to improve efficiency, visa acceptance hours are 8:30 - 11:30 a.m., processing, reviewing and document preparation will be carried out by the Embassy in the afternoon (Monday to Friday, closed on weekends and holidays)

3. A surge of applicants may cause prolonged waiting time at the initial period of appointment-free arrangement. Applicants are advised to arrange their time for submission according to their travel itinerary.

Dear our passengers,

Referring to the announcement made by The State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA) of the Kingdom of Cambodia regarding the relocation of Siem Reap International Airport (REP) to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (SAI), starting from October 16, 2023, onwards, we would like to provide the details as follows:

1. The new international airport has been officially named "Siem Reap Angkor International Airport (where is located in approx. 52 km from Siem Reap town) " by the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) and is scheduled to open for operations from 16 October 2023 onwards.

2. The Siem Reap Angkor International Airport has received the official code from the International Air Transport Association (IATA Code) as SAI and from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO Code) as VDSA.

3. All commercial flights of air passengers and cargo that are being operated at the current Siem Reap International Airport (REP) will be transferred entirely and one time only to Siem Reap Angkor International Airport from 00:00 AM (Cambodian Time) on 16 October 2023.

On 22 December 2022, Cambodia Angkor Air successfully launched its first flight between Siem Reap and Hanoi, Vietnam.

This is according to a press release issued to local news.

The first flight, Flight K6 852, departed from Siem Reap International Airport at 14:30 and landed at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi on 16:15. The plane carried 68 passengers. The plane then returned to Siem Reap at 17:15.

The airline company confirmed that Cambodian Angkor Air will operate three regular flights per week between Siem Reap and Hanoi, every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

In addition to flights to Hanoi, there are other flights to other destinations in Vietnam, such as: Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang.
